Thanksgiving in Costa Rica!

I have SO much to be thankful for!  My family, my fiancé, great friends, a relationship with God, a roof over my head, running water, electricity, 3 meals a day...   and even though my family & fiancé were both not with me to celebrate Thanksgiving, it was still a really special day!

Friends of ours have recently started an English speaking church.  The church had a "Thanksgiving potluck" where everyone brought a Thanksgiving dish.  Aimee, my roommate, represented our house by baking and bring lots of rolls.

There were probably 50 people there... some I knew, and lots that I didn't!  We ate, sat around and talked, and enjoyed on another's company for a few hours.

My roommate, Lisa, and I on Thanksgiving!

I was able to Skype with my family and talk on the phone with Isaac (who is in Puerto Viejo hosting a missionary couple) which made everyone seem closer.

I hope you all had a happy Thanksgiving; those who are close to their families, and those who are far away! :)
