Finally in Jaco

This has been a week of huge moments:  moving to a new country, buying my first vehicle, learning how to drive stick-shift, reconnecting with people and starting work in a new ministry.

I arrived in Costa Rica last Thursday night, but just arrived in Jaco two days ago.  I flew in to San Jose and was thrilled to see Isaac again!  We did some car shopping and found a 2001 Nissan Xterra that was in good conditions that we were able to buy.  On Tuesday we left San Jose with the car and went to Liberia, Isaac's home town.  I had left things at his mom's house, and also wanted to greet them now that I was back in the country.  After a few days there, we came to Jaco and I moved into my new home.

Here is a picture of me in front of my house with the car!

It feels GREAT to be back in Costa Rica, with Isaac, and start the work with the kids.  There is a lot to learn and figure out, being in a new city, but it's nice to have one place to be living in for the next season of life.
