Activities with the kids

Isaac and I continue to work with the children of the community every day for about 2 hours.  We see the same 30 children come every day, and are more than satisfied with that size of a group.  We were told when we first came that we could expect up to 500 children to come to our meetings.  However, because we don't give food at our times of play, the number stays small.

We do all kinds of activities with the children; painting, playing with Legos and small toys, bowling, soccer, Frisbee and jumping rope. We love it when they tell us what they want to do, as these children don't have toys to play with.  We sing songs, dance, and tell stories from the Bible.  We are very repetitive in what we teach knowing that these children are hearing stories from the Bible that they haven't heard before.

This week we are teaching on when Jesus came to earth, died on the cross, and rose from grave.
