Every day Isaac goes to the visa and every day they tell him to come back the next day. We all had a good feeling about today. We all thought today he would get his visa, and that we would be on our way to Zimbabwe tomorrow. Well, he did get a response, but it’s not at all the type of response we were looking for. His visa was refused and he was denied entry into Zimbabwe.
When he came back to the Joseph Project and shared the news, I was shocked. I was so sure that God had led us to this ministry, that I couldn’t fathom that he was denied entry. The people at the embassy told him that he can appeal the refusal, and so tomorrow we will be going with a letter of appeal. I know that God can use situations like these to protect, and so we are trusting that He will open the doors wide, or shut them tight.
In the meantime, we are looking for plans B, C, D, F, G, etc! We are happy to stay here in South Africa, and there are other opportunities in Lesotho. We are praying and seeking direction from God as to where to go and what ministry to serve with. Please pray with us during this unexpected change of plans!
