We were planning a trip to Nicaragua to do ministry with children that live in the slums for next weekend. However, as we get transit visas to enter into South Africa, we need to give our passports to the South African Embassy so that the visas can get processed. This means that I can't leave the country, because I won't have my passport in my possession for the next 2 weeks. But, I still need to get my tourist visa to stay in Costa Rica renewed, before I pass my 90 day limit. Do you see my dilemma? So tomorrow we are going to Liberia, Costa Rica which is close to the Nicaraguan border, and we will cross the border on Sunday to hang out at the beach, and renew our visas. A mandatory beach trip? Not bad! We'll be back Sunday night after the 6 hour bus ride back to San Jose.
