This phrase, "No, please no!" is heard all throughout the day in my classroom. It is Hector's, my autistc student, attempt of getting out of work. He is a high functioning kid that is very smart. But when I assign work, and especially homework, his "No, please no" statements start to come. He says it in a way that sounds like we are about to beat him! His assistant really does an excellent job in working with him and tutoring him throughout the day.
Hector certainly adds joy to my life every day. The things he does are just so funny and innocent. Last year I just got through every day, and it is so nice to enjoy each day!
