Agape Sports Day

In Honduras and I'm pretty sure the rest of the world, there is club soccer.  Each country has a couple of club soccer teams, which we could compare to our NFL.  All the club teams compete against each other.  The biggest club teams in Honduras are Maraton (from San Pedro Sula) and Olimpia (from Tegucigalpa).  Maraton recently won the championship for Honduras.  The seniors hosted a fund-raiser and invited the Maraton "B" team to come play against Agape.  The kids were thrilled and were getting autographs everywhere- soccer balls, jerseys, school uniforms, shoes, arms, hands you name it, it was getting signed.  The game was fun to watch, and Agape really did a good job.  We only lost 0-2.  For me, it was a great day because my class is so sporty it was not hard to keep them in one spot watching the game.  Tomorrow and Friday Agape is hosting a soccer competition, so we will be leaving early- at 12:30 instead of 1:50.
