Nacho Head

Tuesdays are going to be crazy. Lunch time on Tuesdays is absolutely insane. Usually we're split up during lunch time. First 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders eat, and then 4th, 5th, and 6th. It's crowded enough with just 3 grades, but on Tuesdays at lunch, we all have to eat together. There is some sort of conflict in the high school during that time, and so all of elementary school has 30 minutes to get their food and eat it.

My supervision spot is the cafeteria, and so today I truly saw a show. A little 1st grader was running from one side of the cafeteria to the other (not allowed). I'm sure he will never run again in the cafeteria. He ran right into a 6th grader who was holding a big plate of nachos. The whole plate flip over onto the poor little guy's head. Nacho Head. His entire head was covered in cheese and ground beef. It was a sight to be seen. Free lunch? Not quite.

It's terrible, I know, but I had to walk away because I couldn't stop my laughter. Other teachers were there helping. I guess I just need a little more maturing to handle stuff like that!!
