Children's Day

When I was little I asked my mom why she got mother's day and we didn't get children's day. She told me that EVERY DAY was children's day, and that I didn't need just one day to celebrate being a child. Then I come to Honduras, and come to find out there actually IS a Children's Day!! Today we only had a half day of school to celebrate the kids. We had inflatable bouncing things, traditional games and a 5th vs 6th grade soccer game. What a fun day! Very exhausting, and once I crashed from my suger high, I was out, but we all had a great day! Too bad I had to wait until my adulthood to celebrate Children's Day!! haha
