26 hour curfew

Last night the curfew was extended to 26 hours, which means no one can leave their house until 6:00 tonight. The curfew started yesterday at 4 in the afternoon. A friend that lives in the center of San Pedro Sula said that there were a lot of people in the streets destroying things, and just going crazy. Because this was totally unexpected, most people are unprepared. Yesterday after school when we went to fill up our gas tank (which is on empty) there was no gasoline. People did not have time to go to the grocery store, or get money out of the bank. Yesterday at 3:30 when we were trying to get gas everything was closed. We'll see what will happen, but as far as where I live and my neighborhood, things are very calm. We are just stuck in our house for 26 hours. My awesome sister Megan found that the BBC has good coverage of what is going on.
