I have a very consistant weekly routine. After school on Mondays and Tuesdays I go to the gym. On Wednesdays and Fridays I coach cheerleading, and on Thursdays I teach an English class to leaders in the church. Then in the evenings, there is something just about every night going on at the church, whether it be prayer, night church services, small groups, Bible school, etc. I am pretty busy here. But part of having my consistant routine is that I get to meet people outside of the church. I have befriended teachers from another bilingual school who go to curves, as well as the people who work for the taxi company I frequently use. There is a street kid who hangs out by the main taxi base, which is also next to a Subway. One time I got him a sandwich and we've been friends ever since. His name is Juan Carlos and he looks like a 7 year old little kid. I just found out that he is actually 15. Big shocker. Anyways, we were talking this past Monday and I asked him what he did on Sundays. "Why?" he asked, "do you want to hang out with me?" I told him that I did, and that we could go to my church and then to lunch. He said that he would be ready and waiting for me to pick him up at quarter till 10. I cannot wait and I excited to see how God will move on his heart and transform him.
