Well life is pretty much back to normal. I feel very disconnected from the world without easy access to the internet, but I still have it way better than a lot of people and missionaries in the world. God led me to a scripture in the Bible that really brought a lot of comfort and peace to me. Hebrews 10:33-39 You sympathized with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting posessions. So do not throw away your confidence, it will be richly rewarded. You need to perservere so that you when you have done the will of God, you will recieve what he has promised...But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved.

School is going well, we have started the 2nd quarter and I'm much more organized the second time around. I also have new responsibilites at the school, as I have been placed as the cheerleading coach for the high school. In May there is a competition in Tulsa, OK for Christian schools in extracurricular activities. It will be competitive cheerleading, which is the type of cheerleading I did in high school. However, being taught, and coaching others are 2 totally different things. So far practices have gone well, and I am really impressed at how quickly the kids are picking it up.

I do have one story that I have been dying to share. In science class last week the kids had to do a comprehension check on the section we read during class. Here is the question, and one boy's answer:
How does the light bulb work? OMG. I don't know. Ask Thomas Edison.

Ms Karen - you gave us quite a scare! Thank God you are okay and learning more and more how to walk in His Spirit. You are an amazing young women. I remember when you helped teach the girls at Troy Christian with me. You are a great teacher and motivator so I know your cheerleaders will be awesome! Xoxoxox
