Welcome!

Welcome to my blog everyone! I have decided to update here as well as emails while I am in Honduras, although I will be updating here more than I will be sending the emails. Its hard to believe that July 8th is almost here and its time to go. I will be returning to San Pedro Sula, Honduras to work for the ministry I worked for 4 years ago when I went as a missionary. It is a locally run church and school with no help from any US organization.

I will be teaching 5th grade at Agape Christian Academy, the school that was started by the pastors of the church, Ernesto and Sheree Banegas. It has grown to be one of the largest bilingual Christian schools in the country. The goal is to raise up a Godly generation of people who have influence, who one day will be able to use that influence to advance the Kingdom of God and make positive changes for the people of Honduras. It is an amazing vision, which I am so blessed to be a part of.

I will be living in the same neighborhood as the school and the church, and will have 4 Honduran roommates with who I'm friends with. I will probably not be updating the first week I am there, because as soon as I land, I'm off to help Amercian mission teams that have come to serve. I will drop my bags off at the house, repack, and head 45 minutes out of town to be with the teams. Talk about hitting the ground and running! I can't wait to get started, and am so thankful for all of the prayer and financial support that got me to this point. Thank you, thank you!!
